High Tech Meets High Design

This stunning penthouse in Chicago is proof that technology can be incorporated into your space without interfering with beautiful interior design.

In the Bar area, guests are treated to exquisite views of the city while surrounded with warm wood paneling. Hidden inside one of these panels is a 65” television. When the TV turns on, the panel recesses and ascends out of the way, and the TV moves forward to entertain guests.

Discreet opening in-ceiling speakers that perfectly match the light fixtures deliver exceptional sound quality for music enjoyment throughout the home.  Invisible in-ceiling speakers deliver high-quality sound with zero visual distractions in high-aesthetic rooms like the Dining Room and Entry.

Outdoors, even with a moderately sized terrace, a landscape speaker system is still a great choice. The homeowners and guests enjoy high-quality music, while the speakers blend into the plantings and don’t distract from the incredible view.

Many of us love to catch up on news and events while getting ready to go out. To keep counters and walls clutter-free, Mills provided a Vanity TV-mirror system. When the TV turns on, it appears behind the mirror; when off, it is simply a high-quality mirror. Mils also provided the matching mirrors in this room to ensure that all sheens were the same.
